Buying on Reem or Al Maryah: check the ADGM property route

Locate the property, identify the authority and ask which registration service applies before you reuse a checklist written for another jurisdiction.

The decision in brief

ADGM provides property services through AccessRP for Al Maryah and Al Reem. Check the route for the exact property and transaction instead of assuming every Abu Dhabi purchase uses the same forms, fees or rules.

Identify the property and transaction first

Record the building, residence reference, ownership position and proposed transaction. Ask the parties which property authority and service apply. A broad location label or a broker’s usual process is not enough to establish the route for your particular purchase, mortgage or lease.

Use the service that matches the task

AccessRP is ADGM’s property services platform. Its services cover property matters including sale, purchase, transfer, mortgage and leasing. Confirm the current service and required documents directly through the official channel. Do not submit sensitive information through a link whose authority you have not established.

Keep costs and timing specific to the route

Ask for the applicable current fees, required documents, responsible parties and sequence for the selected service. Do not carry a registration percentage or timing assumption across from another authority. Where a seller, lender or representative is involved, agree how their requirements fit into the process.

Resolve jurisdiction questions before commitment

If the documents or advice point to different routes, keep the discrepancy open and obtain qualified clarification. This guide is not a determination of legal jurisdiction, ownership eligibility or the treatment of a particular title. Record the answer before making a payment that depends on it.

Questions for the transaction adviser

  • Which authority and current service apply to this specific property?
  • Which documents must the owner, buyer, lender and representative provide?
  • Which current charges apply, who pays them and when?
  • What is the agreed registration and possession sequence?
  • Does the proposed agreement use the same property reference throughout?
